Patriotic Things to do in Crested Butte This July

July 4th is almost here! Are you ready to party like its 1776? With plenty of food, family, and fireworks, Crested Butte is the perfect place to celebrate Independence Day! The party doesn’t have to stop on the 4th, though. With plenty of patriotic events and attractions, you can celebrate all July long! 

Celebrate the 4th of July in Crested Butte

The 4th of July is one of the busiest days of the year in Crested Butte! There are lots of events that take place throughout the day. The 3rd and Elk Vendor Village will take place from 10 AM to 3 PM. Guests can listen to live music, grab food, receive a face painting, and shop! There will be a patriotic parade at 11 AM. From 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, there will be a free concert at the Center for the Arts Outdoor Stage. This is part of the Alpenglow concert series and is sure to get you dancing! At 9 PM, head to Mt. Visit the Crested Butte Museum 

The Crested Butte Museum is full of historic collections and excellent exhibits dedicated to preserving the history of Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley. They are a great place to learn about local heritage!

Support the local craft beer scene by grabbing a crisp, American brew! There are lots of breweries in the area, including (but not limited to!)  Irwin Brewing and Eldo Brewery
