Snow Magazine's list of Colorado's top eight ski towns is a good place to look if you need help planning your trip!

At the beginning of February, Snow Magazine released a list of their eight favorite ski towns in Colorado. Of the state's 28 phenomenal ski areas, these are the best of the best! The list is as follows:
- Aspen
- Breckenridge
- Copper Mountain
- Crested Butte
- Steamboat
- Telluride
- Vail
- Winter Park
The magazine's description of Crested Butte is charming! It truly captures the spirit of what many people believe is Colorado's truest ski town. They wrote: "There are no traffic lights, no chain stores and no high-rise buildings, just the meticulously preserved false-front buildings reminiscent of its mining past. Yet you’ll quickly see there’s no shortage of entertainment and dining options - all run by some of the most welcoming people you’ll ever meet.
Quirky and 'out there', the resort is also known as the birthplace of in-bounds extreme skiing. Crested Butte's reputation as one of Colorado's best ski resorts is well-documented. Time and time again, it has received national attention for being amazing! It is also Colorado's snowiest town- and it is home to lots of extreme (and beautiful) terrain. Beyond winter sports, it is also well-loved for its shops, restaurants, and museums.
